In the last 30 years I have taught for many different organizations and dance studios and enjoy sharing my passion for dance. I began ballroom dancing in 1978 and trained in International Standard Division - Waltz, Quickstep, Slow Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz - as well as the Latin Division - Cha Cha, Rumba, Jive and Samba. In addition, I also trained in the nightclub dances such as Salsa, Merengue and Mambo.
In 1990 I was introduced to the Argentine Tango and was trained by two of Argentina’s greatest professional dancers, Carlos Gavito (Forever Tango) and Christina Rey (A Rose for Mr. Tango). In 1993 I joined the Toronto Argentine Cultural Association’s dance troupe, Los Milongueros and performed with them for thirteen years. I have performed in the Roy Thomson Hall, The DuMaurier Centre, The Premier Dance Theatre and numerous corporate functions and folk festivals across Canada.
